Currently the EE Department has three electives tentatively scheduled for Spring 2009:

ELEE 4333 Topics: Introduction to Radar (Li)
ELEE 4360 Microwave Systems (Foltz)
ELEE 4390 Communication Networks (Peng)

If there is strong student interest, we can change or add to this list of electives. Petitions are welcome. If you want to start such a petition, it is recommended that you

• discuss the idea with one or more potential instructors,
• get at least 15 names of students who would definitely sign up if the course is offered, and
• act quickly since enrollment will start shortly.

Adding courses needs administrative approval, and some faculty cannot be shifted from regular required courses; therefore, we cannot guarantee success ahead of time; however, we have been able to honor most petitions with 15+ names in the past.
