No "Filled" Classes In Electrical Engineering

Our department policy is to not turn away students who need to take our courses. If you need a course and it shows as full on the Assist system, please contact the department at 956-381-2609 or contact the department chair at hfoltz@utpa.edu. We will work with you to get you into the course.

Summer 2009 and Fall 2009 Schedule Changes

Undergraduate

  • Seats have been added to ELEE 1101 Intro to Electrical Engineering to accommodate student demand.
  • ELEE 3307 Lab Section A has been closed. Sections B and C have open seats available.
  • ELEE 3371 has been changed to ELEE 4732 Electric Machinery and Power System Fundamentals. The time remains the same at MW 5:45-7:00pm. The instructor will be Dr. Jaime Ramos.
  • We are offering ELEE/CMPE 4375 Intro to VLSI in Fall 2009. The time will be TR 7:10-8:25PM. This course is required for Computer Engineering majors and an elective for EE majors. The instructor will be Dr. Hasina Huq.
  • We are offering CMPE 2322 Signals and Systems in Fall 2009. The time will be MWF 10:45-11:35AM.
  • We have changed the time for Electromagnetics (ELEE 3315) to MWF 8:45-9:35AM for Fall 2009. This change is to avoid time conflicts with Microprocessors.
  • We have changed the time for Senior Design I lecture (ELEE 4461.01) to W 4:00-5:15pm for Fall 2009. This change is to avoid time conflicts with Solid State.
  • We have changed the time for Senior Design II lecture (ELEE 4462.02) to M 4:00-5:15pm for Fall 2009. This change is to avoid time conflicts with Solid State.


Graduate

  • We will be offering graduate Microprocessors II in Summer II 2009.
  • ELEE 6399.01 (Kumar) will have the topic Computer Network Performance
  • ELEE 6399.02 (Peng) will be changed to ELEE 6362 Internet Protocols
  • ELEE 6399.03 (Dong) will have the topic Robot Modeling and Control
It may take several days for the changes to appear on the Assist online registration system. Your patience is appreciated.
